Trekking Goykio Ri/Everest base camp and Island Peak 2016
We know Highhimalayen and Mr. Jyamchang Bhote from several tours in the Norwegian mountains where he is guiding for Jostedalen Breførarlag during the summer.
The spring of 2016 we were trekking, at the recomandation of Mr. Bhote, Goykio Ri, Chola-pass, Everest base camp and Island Peak. We were very satisfied with that choice. The trekking gave us 20 days in the Himalayas, and gave us the enough time to both adjust to the hights and to experience local people, nature and mountains. The trekking route gives you one of the best ways to experience some of the most beautiful mountains and views in the world.
Highhimalayan had a very good and experienced guide which spoke english very well. He observed our health in a professional manner, and we felt very safe. Mr. Bohte do not want his clients to take any medicine to compensate for the hight. Our health had priority number one. That is very reassuring when you are walking in the Everest region.
When we got back to Kathmandu Mr. Bhote himself guided us for three days in this both charming and chaotic town. There is no town like this. I doubt that it is possible to make this town on your own. Don’t miss this opertunity to be guided. Kathmandu is an experience you never forget if you are able to have a look.
Highhimalayen and Mr Bhote is very professional, he has very good guides, he puts his clients health as priority number one and he is eager to show you around in Kathmandu. In short: We will not hesitate to use Highhimalayen and Mr. Bhote the next time we are going to this region in Nepal. Actually we would like to have him as a guide on our next mountaineering trip in Norway.
